Yes, it’s psoriasis if you’re wondering 😒 But more importantly, I think what @indyclinton is doing is going to shift the culture around online bullying in a big way. There’s a huge difference between sharing an opinion and saying something with zero positive intent. Some people go out of their way to cut others down just to feel something and some are so persistent with a purpose to break spirits. If you’re bold enough to comment, you should be bold enough to say it with your face and your name attached. Full chest. People shouldn’t be allowed to spread real harm behind a profile, the same way you wouldn’t get away with verbally abusing someone on the street or throwing threats in real life. I honestly believe every account should be publicly linked to a real identity. It would change the whole game. This constant habit of targeting people online, especially women and parents just sharing real life, needs to be called out. I get messages all the time about how I parent or the number of kids I have, and honestly, a lot of it feels like mums shaming other mums just to feel better about their own choices. That’s a whole issue on its own. But what I’m talking about here isn’t passive judgment. It’s calculated, ongoing hate with the clear intention to hurt. That’s a different level of toxic, and we need to stop normalising it. Especially when it’s aimed at creators like Indy, who are already open about feeling hurt or vulnerable. It’s not criticism. It’s kicking someone while they’re already down. It’s not honest feedback. It’s not helping.
