I LOVE big artwork in homes but it’s not cheap. The only way I have been able to bring oversized art into my home is by using #peelandstickwallpaper that I frame out with box molding. This is a #renterfriendly #budgetfriendly #DIY if you install it on the wall but to make it easy to move I would take the time to build a base (plywood or foam board) and frame it with molding. I just find installing it on the wall easier for me! My go to places for scalable murals is Photowall and Wall Blush! I have never used a drywall anchor to hang a picture or mirror… and I will probably make someone angry by saying that. The reality is I don’t see the need to do that when there is a much simpler solution that doesn’t require a ton of effort. Replying to @sami_von_jami If you are like me and not a fan of mirrored closet doors you can absolutely put #peelanfstickwallpaper on them! You can have fun with this! It can easily be changed up as your style evolves. I have done patterns in the past or you can find the more realistic styles like I tried here (there is a lot of wood embossed peel and stick on the market in different styles now). The #peelandstick handles are just an added touch but not necessary. This is also a #budgetfriendly #renterfriendly #DIY so even if you don’t own your place you can do this! #homedecor #homeideas

Say goodbye to the space themed bedroom… and maybe TikTok. Today I started taking everything out of this room. The plan is to turn this into a moody (but bright) whimsical #bedroommakeover The one thing you should take away from this post today is that good #renterfriendly #peelandstickwallpaper saves your paint and your time. I used cheap contact paper to do the accent around the door and it peeled a ton of paint. I now have to fix that wall and paint! Day 3 of the whimsical #bedroommakeover was hanging up these curtains that will frame her bed (that isn’t here right now). We originally wanted to do a ceiling mounted canopy that wrapped around the bed BUT I can’t due to the ceiling fan being in the way. She wants to keep the ceiling fan soo I going to work with my options. This was what I came up with! Well I thought it would be fun to do a “behind the scenes” for Day 4 of the #bedroommakeover because today was a mess. These #homedecor projects were supposed to be very easy and quick… they were not. First change was swapping out the curtains. I couldn’t get the rod off and then I got sent the wrong length of curtains. I pivoted to using another set of curtains that are the proper length. The pointless ledge was going to get decorated. I had this idea of doing hanging vines to start… well I can’t get the command hooks I bought to stick even after washing the ledge. I am coming back to this but I needed to walk away. Why am I sharing this? Not everything is perfect and is going to go as planned. It’s okay!! This is perfectly normal in the #DIY and #homeimprovement world… the bad days are just not shown enough.

Day 1 of the whimsical #bedroommakeover starts of course with #peelandstickwallpaper Let’s talk about this wallpaper… I have put roommates wallpaper on my knockdown texture many times and it has never fallen down or given me issues. It is always one of my favorite #budgetfriendly #renterfriendly options. For this 10x10 wall it should have taken 6 rolls but five worked out okay because the pattern is forgiving. Order a few more rolls than you think just in case because you can always return the extras. #DIY #homedecor

Day 2 of the whimsical #bedroommakeover and I didn’t have a ton of time today to do a more in-depth project so I quickly put up these #peelandstickdecals that are in a scallop pattern to give this window some detail. This is a #renterfriendly #DIY but it is soo much easier and less messy than if I used paint to do this. I also don’t have to worry about if I don’t like it later on… I can just rip it off. #homedecor #homeideas #homeimprovement #easydiy

This is literally all within 1 year… it’s been so fun to watch! When we needed to go get her a bigger bag (she has 13 clubs now 🫠) she wanted another @Sunday Golf bag because it’s what she has had from the beginning and loves them. Welcome back to brutally honest #peelandstick reviews… today is a #peelandsticktile that claims it can pretty much be put on every surface and can go in a shower. They also claim to be eco friendly… which is interesting to me considering the materials and adhesives required to create the durability they claim. I also didn’t even go down the road of anti-mold claims because that’s a pretty messy topic when talking about these being exposed to water, water potentially seeping in the foam, and what your ventilation/humidity is like. I live in AZ with high ceilings + good ventilation my risks for mold is already lower because of my personal living situation. I personally don’t think these are anything special right now and definitely not a #budgetfriendly #renterfriendly #DIY #homeproject unless you put up a barrier. I am going to be installing a tile next and testing it in my shower. As always, i will keep you updated!

I don’t have a Lowe’s close by so I go to Home Depot) 2. Miter Box (comes with the saw for $20) 3. Flat corner L brackets (they come in packs of 4 for $3) 4. I have never been a good #housewife I jumped into a really intense career shortly after Lily was born. I was obsessed with the idea of being a young mom with a big career… I had the big career eventually but I absolutely sucked at managing my home.
