attempting to say goodbye to my bubble after we finished filming my final scene in it which actually happens to be one of the first that you see. 𖦹 ⋆｡˚ the attachment i felt to my wand and my bubble was comically overwhelming. (please feel free to laugh) ! many, many long, beautiful days were spent here, in the sunshine, in the freezing rain and wind. we sang, we laughed, we shared tearful, complicated moments and silly ones alike. these props and physical pieces of her puzzle hold so much !!!!!!!! her bubble was a home away from home. a protective shell and a quiet, safe place for all of her little secrets and truths. her wand filled a void in her heart, it gave her a sense of purpose, strength and magic, even if that magic was somewhat in her head. i miss these physical pieces of her often. ♡ sorry this caption sounds like a literal eulogy.

picking my head up in between sobs to say thank you so much to @The Academy for this unfathomable recognition. i cannot stop crying, to no one’s surprise. i’m humbled and deeply honored to be in such brilliant company and sharing this with tiny ari who sat and studied Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow just before the big, beautiful bubble entered. i’m so proud of you, tiny. thank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for this acknowledgement, the academy. thank you jon m. chu for taking this chance on me and for being the most unbelievably brilliant leader, human being, and most fierce friend. i am so deeply proud of my beautiful Wicked family. i am so proud of my Elphie, my sister, my dear @Cynthia Erivo. your brilliance is never ending and you deserve every flower (tulip) in every garden. i love you unconditionally, always. i don’t quite have all my words yet, i’m still trying to breathe. but thank you. oh my goodness, thank you. Universal, Marc, my family, my heart. lemons and melons and pears, oh my. 🫧
