A lot of the products we actually don’t get to keep and have to send back to companies on a loan. So trying to keep it all organized from what I’ve purchased and what is theirs is always a fun end of the year task! New Nintendo Switch 2!

There’s been a major breakthrough in quantum computing!! Microsoft’s research has led to the creation of Majorana 1 - a chip that can perform incredibly complex calculations that would be impossible for even the largest classical computers… and I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to see in person!! This chip operates in a new topological state of matter, using Majorana particles instead of electrons, allowing it to store up to a million qubits. To achieve this, the chip is housed in an incredibly advanced freezer that can cool it down to just 50 millikelvin, 10 times colder than interstellar space. This compact, powerful quantum computer has the potential to revolutionize fields like AI and scientific research.
