ayo where can admin sign up for this class 👀? #ICYMI: Last year, art students at Khon Kaen University found a creative way to let off steam... by punching their clay sculpture assignments. According to TikTok user, @/mex_story, the sculptures were part of a class project. After being graded, the clay is normally recycled, but the students decided to have a bit more fun tearing them down. “It was more fun to punch them than just break them,” they explained. China’s state media has issued a rare warning, advising people under 50kg to stay indoors as strong winds hit northern regions. From 11 to 13 April, the Beijing Meteorological Service raised its wind alert to orange — the second-highest level — with gusts of up to 150km/h expected in Beijing, Tianjin, and parts of Hebei. The winds, blowing in from Mongolia, were described as unusually strong and potentially dangerous. As a precaution, parks and outdoor venues were closed, events were postponed, and over 150 train services in Beijing were suspended. One person died in Anhui province after being hit by a falling tree, and wind speeds reached up to 168km/h in some areas. The warning about light individuals being "blown away" sparked wide discussion on Chinese social media. Follow @saysdotcom for more news updates. #SAYSnews

Meet Tony Lian, the heart and soul behind Food4U, a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting Kuala Lumpur's most vulnerable. Since 2015, this 75-year-old former businessman, more affectionately known as Uncle Tony, has devoted his time to volunteering. In his first year, he distributed 300 meals a week. After a decade, that number has risen to 3,000. Uncle Tony shared that the inspiration behind establishing Food4U came from his mother. "I believe I inherited this from my mother. Despite being poor and my dad [not working] in his early 40s [due to his health], my mother provided shelter to four homeless ladies under her roof. "With limited resources and income, she provided food and shelter for them. I think that displayed [generosity] and impressed me. It gave me an understanding that money is not everything in this world." Uncle Tony stressed that Food4U adheres to one basic principle: the charity organisation helps everyone regardless of race, religion, and politics. He also refuses to register Food4U as an official NGO, as he values its informal structure and dislikes the bureaucratic constraints that come with formal registration. The Food4U team is in desperate need of volunteers from Monday to Saturday. If you wish to volunteer, contact Uncle Tony at +017-8812666. To donate, you can transfer to his Public Bank account: 4826007307. Click the link in this post for the full story or head to www.says.com

Israel has released a video showing its forces handing out sandwiches and water to international activists who were arrested after their ship, the Madleen, was intercepted on its way to Gaza. The vessel, part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, was around 160km from Gaza when it was stopped. Armed Israeli forces boarded the ship, ordered the crew to throw their phones into the sea, and cut off all communication. The activists were trying to deliver much-needed aid and medical supplies to besieged Palestinians in Gaza. According to Al Jazeera, the 12 detained volunteers — including climate activist Greta Thunberg — are now being taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted a video on X showing the detainees being given food and water, with the caption: "All the passengers of the ‘selfie yacht’ are safe and unharmed. They were provided with sandwiches and water. The show is over." The post has drawn backlash online, with critics calling it a propaganda move. Many pointed out the irony of detaining volunteers who were attempting to deliver aid — and then publicising that they were being fed. Follow @saysdotcom for more news updates. #SAYSnews

A teacher at UIAM Gombak has gone public about years of harassment by a woman who disrupted him at the campus library — a moment he captured and shared in a now-viral TikTok. Zulhilmi, who also teaches at Ahlan Academy, said the woman, Abidatul Husna, has been stalking him since 2020 after he removed her from his Instagram. Despite multiple police reports, she allegedly continues to make false claims — including that they are married — and has contacted him through calls, messages, and fake accounts. Ahlan Academy has denied all accusations and urged the public not to spread misinformation. Zulhilmi says the ordeal has deeply affected his personal life and career.
