Heartbroken & feeling totally deflated. I never imagined Tyson would come back off loan and behave how he has. I knew he was a sensitive pony but to see him so shut down has broke my heart. I worked hard with him the last year to gain his trust and its all gone. He’s head shy & showing clear signs of pain, so my next step is to get the physio and eliminate all pain behaviours. If I’d known going on loan would cause this Id of never sent him. We think being hammered around after not being used to work is whats caused the pain issues… but thats just a guess. We dont know whats gone on fully & never will. There is another side to me that will ride through anything once I know a horse (& when I have core strength back) please don’t forget I had a baby 10 weeks ago & bought him before I found out. Why would I sell a horse I may well be able to enjoy in a few weeks with some more riding & lessons? This is only the beginning- dont forget most people wouldn’t show this side.
