You will struggle to compete at a high level with a two-way miss… Here’s what I’m working on in my swing to get “unstuck” and eliminate the dreaded double-cross: 1. Arms more in front of the body’s rotation, which creates a very connected feel in my swing. 2. “Cover” or center the upper body over the lower body in the downswing, which improves my pivot and control of the club face. I use Tommy Fleetwood, Brett White, and Justin Rose as examples, but there’s a million other great players doing the same thing… Club face is king. Playing with a two-way miss and unpredictable shot shape makes it 10x harder to score.
