y’all got 7 weeks and ~50 performances left to catch me at the Richard Rodgers Theatre! I’m excited for the next chapter ahead (to be announced soon 🕵️‍♂️), but am sad to cut my time at Hamilton short. This show has challenged me in every way physically, mentally, and emotionally. It has genuinely been a decade long dream come true to perform in what I view as a once-in-a-lifetime piece of theatre. Alongside fulfilling that dream, I’ve experienced the hardest emotional and personal chapter of my life thus far. It has tested every personal limit of mine to find the strength to show up to do this job every day. Words can’t describe my gratitude to have been surrounded by such a loving and understanding company during this time, granting me space and time to grieve, being present with hugs and warm words, and giving me support when I’ve had emotional breakdowns backstage. I feel strongly that God put me in this specific theater during this chapter for a reason, doing a show where I couldn’t escape my emotions and instead had to face them - but in a place where I’m surrounded by the most awesome, rockstar humans. And in the words of King George III… “you’ll be back.” I’m manifesting that those words come true and that I’ll be able to return to the Ham fam sometime in the future.
