The wheelchair section is for wheelchairs not buggies, and we do take priority in the section! Of course if a wheelchair user isn’t using it, then you can use it for a buggy, but if a wheelchair user gets on, you should move or fold your buggy. Educational post not a real situation (was spurred after I saw a video of someone they would never move their buggy for a wheelchair user and hundreds of people were agreeing in the comments) Please just work with us and normally we can both fit anyway! #Access: Video description: video begins with Eliza getting on the bus with the text ‘me a wheelchair user getting on the bus and seeing a buggy in the wheelchair section’ we then see the buggy, we then see someone with short brown hair and they have a conversation. #Disabled #Wheelchair

Did you know some wheelchair users transfer at the theatre? Well we do! So if you are at the theatre and someone tells you they cannot stand up, this might be why! Yes this was a true story from a few weeks ago and no, I wasn’t in a position to stand up due to pain and the fact that standing up and down can cause a medical emergency for me so I need to be careful of how much I do it (doing it right before the lights go down and a show starts I not a good or safe idea!) #Access: Video description: Eliza a White fem wheelchair user is sat in theatre seats looking forward, we then see a stranger approaching with a grey wig on, Eliza and the stranger have a conversation back and forth and an usher arrives and they carry on talking. During the interval £10 drops out the strangers pocket and Eliza takes it’ #Disabled #Theatre #Sketch

Let’s chat about the differences that I have seen between a relaxed performance and a non-relaxed performance. I went to @ENO and @SIX 👑 and here are the differences I found! Which one would you attend? Ad: gifted ticket to ENO Note on Rona precautions I have taken: I am currently unable to wear a mask for long periods of time due to a recent health condition & a really awful experience that happened to me due to my mask which is causing a lot of anxiety when wearing one to the point it's undoable and unsafe (but something I am working on) However if I ever do attend events like this and am unable to mask | will: drive to reduce contact with people, test before attending, social distance, wash hands and bring clinell wipes and clean regularly, test for the next 5 days after the event. #Access: Video description: Eliza a White fem wheelchair user attends a relaxed performance and then a non relaxed performance and share the difference between them. #Disabled #Theatre #SIX #WestEnd #Opera #Music #Musicals
