In this case there was absolutely nothing wrong with my painted counters.. I love a good counter painting! But, it just wasn’t quite the look I was going for. So, I found another way to get what I wanted without spending a fortune. Enter: realistic laminate/formica. Laminate has come SUCH a long way, and I love the style I picked out for the main counters. Everything has been coming together so beautifully.
