Wow diving into a @Kandu adventure with @Carla Virgos 🩵 in the Maldives has been coconuts! The creatures most people fear are her best friends…and now mine! Do you like sharks?

Geeeze it’s hard to get any privacy in the Maldives! 😜🦈👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 It’s not very often that my merman and I get photos together because he’s always behind the lens! Grateful to incredible Maldivian photographer @nazykko and his beautiful mermaid @Carla Virgos 🩵 for having us along on their @Kandu adventure and celebrating both of our recent engagements! Growing up, I’d watch The Little Mermaid and wonder when my prince would come. Unlike Ariel, I’m so grateful I didn’t have to give up my voice to find mine. Kellen supports all my coconuts ideas—even when they involve traveling across the world to dive with sharks! (And now he’s patiently navigating my plans for a real-life Prince and Princess adventure to Ireland.) My advice is find a partner who loves the inner child side of you. I think Kellen and I would’ve been best friends as seven-year-olds are running around creating tree forts and talking to octopus underwater…and dreaming up wild adventures. Even though we didn’t know each other then, we still do those things now… and that’s what keeps the magic alive. Whether it’s a morning in the treehouse or a day kissing with a bunch of curious sharks—it’s always an adventure. Would you do this?

I rarely wear more than a swimsuit at home sweet treehouse, but I was getting dressed up for my birthday party today and this little guy was in my bra🫣🦎 How cute is he when he wiggles! PS at the end that’s my fiancé cutting wood for my birthday fire. We are gonna have some coconut s’mores! what should we name him?

Ocho had a baby!!! Well… more like hundreds of thousands! Did you know a mama octopus can lay up to 500,000 eggs? She guards them without leaving—even skipping meals—until they hatch into tiny, perfectly formed baby octos. But here’s the wild part: once they hatch, they’re completely on their own. No parenting manuals, no bedtime stories—just a solo swim into the big blue. When life gives you veggies and eggs…

One day, I was chatting with my friend Adi in the Maldives when he casually mentioned that the island he’s from used to be a secret British military base, once visited by Queen Elizabeth herself — and that hidden in the surrounding turquoise waters was a massive World War II shipwreck! I immediately started googling. How has no one made a documentary about this yet!? Since I’ve been honored with the title of the Female Indiana Jones by TIME Magazine, of course, I had to go investigate! 😜🕵🏻‍♀️ Serendipitously, Adi along with filmer Maan is launching a company called @MaldivesListed to help people discover hidden gems like this one, and he took us on an adventure back to his homeland. In the blink of an eye, my underwater filmer fiancé and I were off on a four-day flight journey to one of the most remote places on Earth — Addu Atoll! We were grateful to stay for almost two weeks at @Equator Village , a property where the former military facilities have been beautifully repurposed into a historic and charming island hotel. We enjoyed incredible buffet meals with the kindest staff, quickly becoming one big ohana (family, as we say in Hawaii). The witty and welcoming hotel manager, Waheed , made sure we were set up with boats from their dive center to safely embark on our epic shipwreck adventure. It was surreal standing on a small island and looking out across the endless ocean — knowing that the next major landmass is Antarctica! I can’t wait for you all to see the longer documentary that Maldives Listed is creating. Thanks for bringing us! From the nature park, to Manta Ray point - and of course the wreck - the atoll is teaming with untouched ecosystems. I’m truly grateful for such a coconuts adventure, and if you’re ever headed to the Maldives and want to experience a less touristy side of paradise — especially if you love scuba diving and history (I’m such a nerd!) — definitely add Addu Atoll to your bucket list!

From the jungles of Home Sweet Treehouse to the jungles of our nation’s capital, it was an honor to team up with the French Embassy and United Nations to ride a wave of ocean change. Meeting the French Ambassador to the U.S. and his passionate, dedicated team showed me how powerful it is when countries come together to protect our planet. Seeing my film on the big screen was surreal and reminded me that storytelling and social media are powerful tools for impact. Excited to see what flows from the UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France this June. Even a simple share of this video can make a splash and inspire the next wave of content creators for good.
