While meniscus tears can be painful and scary, they respond extremely well in physical therapy. In most cases this is one of the first steps to getting better 💪🏻 #physicaltherapy
Dancers and flexible people NEED strength. But to get that strength, it helps to use specific variations to make sure they’re testing their muscles in the best way possible. These are 3 of my favorites. #physicaltherapy #dancersoftiktok #dancerlife
Carla is an AMAZING physical therapist and my newest coworker in the clinic. And since physical therapists have pain and issues just like everyone else, we try to help each other when we can. Carla has made a lot of progress in the hip since the last time I posted about it but there is still work to do 💪🏻 The symptoms that she experiences are very common and are emblematic of a diagnosis called “Dancer’s Hip”. Relieving tension in the muscles with manual therapy and improving the strength and control of the hip flexors is the most effective treatment. #physicaltherapy #dancersoftiktok @Carla
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome can be a very annoying issue that causes frequent numbness and tingling down the arm. In general when I see someone with this presentation, these are the first two movements I will have them do. #physicaltherapy

Original Post on TT from: @vel The psoas is a complicated and stubborn muscle that seems to hold onto a lot of secrets. But by following these steps I’ve seen a massive difference in the tightness and discomfort in this muscle. Thanks as always to Carla for being such a great model in my videos. She is an amazing PT herself and when she started at the clinic earlier this year I’m sure she had no idea I’d be asking her to help me out so much. If you think your psoas needs some in-person attention and you live in NYC, come in to see myself, Carla, or any of our other amazing PTs 🙌🏻 #physicaltherapy
Every week in July I’m reposting one of my favorite videos from my years of posting content and this is one on some helpful relaxation techniques to help you finally get some rest 😴 #physicaltherapy
A lack of internal rotation on one side can create a multitude of different aches and pains. You can get ahead of it with these three movements 💪🏻 #physicaltherapy
There is no reason to vilify exercises that have been used successfully for decades. Instead it’s important to use some critical thinking and acknowledge the nuance of the need for different exercises for different people. It’s also important to remember that just because you give an exercise to work on one thing, it doesn’t mean you can’t work on other things as well. Neutral spine strengthening is an important part of my programming but so are a lot of other movements. #physicaltherapy
There are a lot of things you can do for trap tightness. But if you want to do something for yourself and do something right away, this is where I would start 💪🏻 #physicaltherapy Original Post: @SOPHIA PANELLA
Original post from @RHObasketball If you’re looking for a more long term solution, I have posted on the perfect exercise for this diagnosis multiple times 💪🏻 #physicaltherapy #runnerthings #basketballtiktok
These words are being banned from having any presence on government websites and documents and if we don’t stand up to it I’m afraid that it will start to infect other sectors of our country. The war on science, empathy, understanding, etc. is as exhausting as it is terrifying. So I will try to continue to make posts like this to let everyone know where I stand. #physicaltherapy #science
A lot of the exercises that go viral on social media can’t be done by a huge majority of people. If you want to train your hip flexors but can’t do a movement like what was shown at the start of this post then give these three movements a try 💪🏻 #physicaltherapy Original post: @myokinetix
