DON’T LET THE SCALE CONTROL YOU 🫵 the scale doesn’t just show you how much fat you have on your body… it also shows how much water, poop, food, muscle, inflammation etc. you’re holding on to! and if it spikes up one day - it’s NOT because you gained fat overnight, it’s because you’re holding on to more water weight! this can be because of a lot of reasons like stress, bad sleep, more carbs, more food, period etc. that’s why it can go up and down 1-3kg from day to day! IT’S JUST WATER BABE 💦 but if you give up when it goes up, you won’t get to see it go down again!!! TRUST THE PROCESS AND KEEP GOING BABE! YOU GOT THISSSSS
I lost 50kg (111lbs) naturally without counting calories with the 50/40/10 method 👀 Here’s what it is: 50% of the time you eat healthy, nutritious, low calorie meals based on high protein, low carb! Here you focus on lean protein, low fat dairy, fruits and vegetables! Here you’re loading your body up with A LOT of nutrients and you’re creating a HUGE calorie deficit! 40% of the time you still eat healthy, nutritious meals but more fun and balanced! Here you also focus on lean protein, low fat dairy, fruits and vegetables - but here you also include whole grains and low calorie swaps! Here you’re creating your favorite meals but with a healthier twist by switching to low fat products, choosing whole grain, and filling half your plate with salad etc. You’re focusing on portion control - having less of the main meal and then have more fruits and vegetables to fill you up! Here you’re still creating a big calorie deficit, just not as huge as in the 50%. So now you’re in a REALLY big deficit which makes room for the 10%! Which is all the fun foods - and you need these to not go fucking insane! This is not a diet or about sticking STRICTLY to 50/40/10, but an overall mindset and using your common sense to make sure you’re eating healthy and staying in a deficit without counting calories and without overly restricting yourself to the point where you can’t stick to it! It’s not a diet - it’s a lifestyle change 🫶✨ It’s a healthy, sustainable and balanced way of eating that you’ll actually be able to keep up with for life! day 2 of losing 10kg before summer 👀 okay, let’s talk about it… because this isn’t the first time you’ve seen such a big drop in my weight overnight and I STILL get accused of being a liar - so let’s talk about it! the human body NATURALLY fluctuates a lot in weight, and this is due to a lot of things like stress, sleep, water intake, food intake, salt intake etc. and some bodies tend to hold on to more water than others and I happen to be one of them! I gain weight super easy BUT it’s just water weight… and because my body acts like a sponge - I’ve had to figure out how to get rid of water weight and I did! and that’s why you see these huge swings on the scale… No lies, no scam - nothing but the real and raw honest truth! weight loss is NOT a linear process babe… it’s filled with ups and downs AND THAT IS NORMAL!!! so don’t give up when the scale goes up, or you’ll never see the next low! keep going, stay consistent and NEVER give up! 1 week of losing 10kg before summer 👀 I’ve been putting in the work and my body is thanking me for it! I’m down -4kg!!! aaaaaand -24cm’s throughout my body AND I’ve unlocked 3 new milestones this week 🥳✨ 1. I’m in the 66’s which hasn’t happened since before I gained 60kg!!! 2. My measurements are officially the smallest they’ve ever been since I began this journey at 117kg!!! 3. My body fat percentage has reached a new low - 35,5%!!! you’re fat because you keep eating your feelings, so if you want to lose weight and get skinny then you need to learn how to sit with your own feelings… 👀 when you get the urge to go stuff your face, you need to stop for a second, take a deep breath and ask yourself why am I feeling like this? is it out of habit or am I avoiding something? if it’s out of habit, tell yourself NO, get up and shake it out… seriously, just get up and shake your body for a minute and remind yourself that you’re stronger than your craving, you’re the one in control and you have a goal you want to reach. if you’re avoiding something and you feel like eating your emotions, again, get up and shake it out… and then sit with your feelings, try to journal and write down your feelings, and remind yourself that it’s okay to be uncomfortable! remind yourself that food isn’t going to fix your problem and there’s a 100% chance you’ll feel worse afterwards… so it’s not worth it. distract yourself, get up and go for a walk or just pace back and forth your home, throw on some music and dance it out, whatever - just distract yourself and go do something else… and if you do happen to cave in then don’t let it drag you down even more! it is what it is and you just need to forgive yourself, learn from it, grow from it and move the fuck on. I lost 50kg and I stuffed my face 1000s of times - but I still lost the weight because whenever it happened I moved the fuck on and learned from it. I just got back up and got back to it… it’s hard - but you can do hard things babe! you just have to remind yourself of that.
