I know it’s supposed to be installed vertically but sometimes you work with what you’ve got. 1. No it’s not a load bearing wall. And yes I added blocking anyways 2. I backwards planned off the dimensions of my dryer and centered the outlet in the box. 3. The washer and dryer are going on pedestals that’s why the box is high. Had to move an outlet and cut into a stud bay, but totally worth it to get the dryer snug.
