At Christmas, I did the unthinkable… I shared my fudge recipe (seriously, it’s the best in the world!), and you all loved it — so here it is again… #EasterEdition! Same process as before: Microwave a can of condensed milk until it’s hot enough to melt 450g of white chocolate. Once melted, stir in a bag of crushed Mini Eggs. Pour the mixture into a lined tray, top with even more Mini Eggs, and leave it to set overnight. Little update from me….. As this last run of Dragons’ comes to an end I have to say I’ve loved every minute of this series so far and I’m so proud of the businesses I’ve invested in this year! As a lot of you will know, I’ve taken up my position again as CEO of Crafter’s Companion and my business is my big priority this year. And when I commit to a business, I really commit, which is why I find Dragons’ Den such a rewarding role. As well as filming an incredible show, being a Dragon requires so much dedication and time behind the scenes as you join the life of each business you invest in. It means seeing through your investment and committing to your part in that organisation. It’s so much more than a TV show. That’s why I’ve taken the decision to step away from the Den for now, to focus on my own business, which was my first baby! So I won’t be filming with the team this year for the next series. Sending so much love to my fellow Dragons and the amazing team behind it all. In the meantime, you can still catch me in the second half of this series of Dragons’ Den later in the year – it will not disappoint!

I mean, whoever came up with the idea of popping a jar inside another jar and making it look pretty was honestly a genius! It’s such a simple concept, but it makes such a beautiful impact. You can fill the space between the two jars with all sorts of cute Easter bits and bobs—think mini eggs, moss, straw, or anything spring you’ve got lying around the house. Then, pop your spring flowers into the inner jar, and voilà! Who knew a simple test tube and a few wood slices could create the ultimate Easter craft?! Big claim here... I think this is actually my favourite crafty DIY project I have ever done! I had some these little wooden beads and wooden strips left over from some past crafty projects and thought what could I do with them both together and... I think I have made the cutest photostand! I just used my trusty @crafterscompanion glue gun to fix the base together and the beads across, then I finished off by adding some dried foliage so they look like little vases. Then finally, I popped in a gorgeous photo of my boys with the sunset in the distance and there we go - looks pretty bloody lovely doesn't it?! 😍

Has anyone else fallen into bad habits over Christmas, like just having a bowl of Weetabix or Crunchy Nut Cornflakes for breakfast? Because I certainly have! I needed to get back into my smoothies, and I thought if I’m doing this, I’ll share it with you so you can try it too! A big spoonful of peanut butter is a must (I use the @manilife_ one—it's amazing!) because it's packed with fibre, which is perfect to have first thing in the morning. Then I add cacao powder, not cocoa—it must be cacao. Next, pour in a good amount of almond milk (I’m still using the one you all recommended), and I toss in some chia seeds and frozen berries. Strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries are the best because they have the least natural sugars. I use frozen ones so it gives my smoothie a nice, chilled texture! And that’s it—this honestly takes minutes to make but really sets you up for the day!

The BIGGEST question I get asked all the time is how I curl my hair and make it last! Well, here it is – I curl my hair using the @dysonbeauty straighteners. Simply wrap your hair once around the barrel, pull it away from your face and down, and that will give you bouncy curls! Finish with a little bit of serum or oil, then gently comb through with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb. And there you have it – perfect, bouncy curls! As always, the more you practice, the better you'll get. I've watched hairstylists do this for YEARS and only just mastered the technique that works for me, so don’t be fooled... it does take time! Awwwww my lovely hubby - he’s 45 today (I know he’s WELL OLD and I keep reminding him! I keep taking the mick about his white hairs in his beard and his receding hairline 😂) We’ve had a fab 12 months though - just looking back on some of the pics we’ve really made this past year a great one and he’s there for me through thick and thin - the most amazing husband anyone could ask for and the best daddy in the world to our boys. I’m working away today so not there to make him breakfast in bed or make a fuss but I hope the boys are spoiling him (who am I kidding, he’s probably running around after them and being dads taxi and stood on the sidelines at endless hours of football training!) but we’ve got a lovely family day planned tomorrow! #fyp #trending #trends

Alright guys… loo roll crafting is back — #EasterEdition! First, blow up your balloon and wedge it inside a jug or something similar so it stays in place. Then, tear your toilet roll into squares, dampen them with water, and start layering them over the balloon. Keep going until you can no longer see the colour of the balloon — that’s when you’ll know you’ve added enough layers! Remember, this is just water — no glue or adhesives, just good old H2O! Once it’s fully dry, you can pop the balloon, and you’ll be left with a shell made of toilet roll. I trimmed the edges to make it look like the bottom half of a cracked egg. Now — this isn’t a plant pot, it’s a plant pot holder! So most importantly, remember to line it with a plastic bag or something waterproof. Then pop in your plant pot, cover the top with moss, and there you go!
