This is why people don’t talk about money. Even though it’s something we universally will struggle with at some point or another. Hi all. As some of you may know, Our 20 day old, resilient, beautiful girl Prairie was flighted to Nebraska Children’s Hospital due to her critical condition. Here we found she will need surgery as the right side of her diaphragm doesn’t function properly. In order to perform the surgery, she will continue to reside in the NICU on breathing/feeding support for some time until she reaches a “safe weight”. Following this, she will endure what doctors estimate to be months long of recovery/therapy.
